About Me
Hey! I’m Jacqueline K. Lihn, but friends and family call me Jacqui. I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Quakertown, PA.
I am a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Communication Design. As a result, I had the opportunity to learn from the university’s famous KUCD program, gaining many skills during my time there.
With my education, I am proficient in multiple aspects of design. Some of my more favored concentrations are illustration, package design, and UX/UI design. Given the experience I have, I am proficient in a variety of Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. Outside of the Adobe Creative Suite, I am also skilled in Procreate and Figma.
I’ve always had a love for the visual arts. I have been creating art since the moment I could pick up a pencil. My work and style has always leaned towards illustrative, and I have had a longtime interest in character art. My interest in communication design in particular started in high school, where I had taken a graphic design course. Since then a passion sparked within me, and I worked to learn the art and improve my work. I would seek out knowledge and experience from my mentor at the time. And, I would start off my path as a designer designing t-shirts and logos for school organizations.
Aside from design, I have other passions as well. One primarily being the performing arts. During my time in university, I participated in the Kutztown University Marching Unit for 5 years. By the time I graduated, I had been involved in the marching arts for a total of 9 years, including my time marching in high school. Throughout these years I not only marched flute, but I took the initiative to learn to play in front ensemble, march in battery percussion, and perform in color guard during the winter seasons. I plan to continue participating in the marching arts because of how much I dedicate myself to my passions.
I look forward to continuing my designing career, and taking on many opportunities in the future.
